PECRON Comparison Chart: The Full Rundown of Specs

PECRON Power Stations: Full Comparison Charts

The PECRON power station lineup is packed with some of today’s best values. But sorting through it to understand which is best for your needs can feel a bit confusing. This guide simplifies things with clear PECRON comparison charts so you can line up models side by side and spot what matters fast.

We split the specs into bite-size sections that match how you’ll actually use a power station. First comes the big stuff including battery size and inverter output. Then we zoom in on charging inputs, ports, and physical size. When you’re ready for everything at once, you’ll find one master PECRON specifications table at the end.

We carefully select the products and services we link to. If you buy through our links, we may earn a commission. There’s no extra cost to you and it helps us provide this information.

We recommend buying PECRON power stations through our partner brand The Power Sphere, an authorized distributor for all PECRON products. You get support from The Power Sphere as well as the full warranty and support of PECRON.

Notes for This PECRON Chart

  • Battery: The current PECRON models use LiFePO₄ (LFP) cells, considered to be the industry gold standard. They are rated for over 3,500 cycles with still keeping at least 80% capacity.
  • AC Output: The inverter’s continuous rating tells you what it can run continuously. The surge/peak rating covers short spikes, which usually happens when some devices startup.
  • System Max: Some units can be expanded with extra batteries or used as two power stations together, per PECRON’s recommendations. Use the “system max” to see what the recommended expansions are.
  • Warranty: Buying through authorized channels, such as The Power Sphere, protects your warranty. Make sure to register with PECRON to get the longest warranty possible.

Compare PECRON Models: The Details

Below are the detailed charts that most shoppers end up using to finalize a decision.

Not sure what the numbers mean? See our quick guide, How to Understand Power Station Specs, for plain-English explanations.

AC Inverter & AC Charging

The inverter is the “muscle” that powers your household devices. It changes the battery’s DC power to AC power, which is then available to you through the power station’s normal 120V AC outlets. AC charging speed and backup behavior (UPS/EPS) are also important.

What these power station specs mean:

  • AC Output (Continuous / Peak): Continuous is the steady power you can draw for long periods. Peak (or surge) is a short burst, like when a compressor kicks-on. Match continuous output to your real-world needs; don’t rely on surge for everyday use.
  • AC Charging Input: Higher wattage means faster wall charging. As a rule of thumb, a 1,000Wh battery with ~1,000W AC input charges in about an hour, though charge curves slow down as batteries near full.
  • UPS / EPS: With grid power connected, the unit can switch to battery during an outage. Switchover times vary by model. Sensitive electronics (some PCs/routers) prefer shorter transfer times. Look for 10ms or less if you need true “always-on” behavior. Some electronic devices can work with 20ms as well.

Solar Charging Details

If you plan to recharge with the sun, this is the section to study. Pairing your panels correctly prevents errors and speeds up real-world charging. Pay attention to maximum wattage for overall speed, but be aware of the maximum voltage as you cannot exceed it without damaging your power station.

How to read the solar specs:

  • Solar Input (W): Maximum PV power the unit accepts across all solar ports combined.
  • System Max (W): The PV ceiling when you run multiple units or expansions per PECRON’s supported configurations.
  • Voltage Window (Min/Max): Your array’s open-circuit voltage (Voc) must fall inside this range. Never exceed Max Voc. Cold weather raises Voc. Make sure to plan for it.
  • Current Limit (A): The maximum amps the power station will draw. You can “over-panel” (higher array watts than the input limit) to improve cloudy-day performance, but the unit will still cap intake at its amp/watt limit.
  • Watts = Volts × Amps: Handy for sanity checks when you plan series vs. parallel connections.
    • Series wiring adds voltage (keep an eye on Max Voc).
    • Parallel wiring adds current (watch the amp limit and use proper combiner/safety gear).
    • Read more about how to connect solar panels if this sounds like a foreign language.

Weight & Dimensions

Portability, shelf space, and lifting weight matter more than most people expect, especially if you move the unit often or store it under a bench.

AC Outlets & DC Ports

Outlets determine what you can plug in without extra adapters. For DC users (overlanders, RVers, ham radio), the high-output ports are a big deal. No matter what your use is, you want to be certain the power station you choose has a sufficient number of outlets and ports.

Good to know:

  • AC Outlets: Count how many grounded outlets you need at once (kitchen loads, fridge + microwave, etc.).
  • USB / USB-C: The crucial ways to charge many small electronic devices. Good to use these instead of AC outlets to maximize your battery power (avoids inverter loss).
  • 12V DC: Many models include a regulated 12V car socket and other barrel ports.
  • High-Amp DC: Select PECRON units offer higher-amp DC outputs (e.g., XT60 up to 30A on some models) that are great for fridges, lights, and DC tools without going through the inverter.
  • Expansion Ports: Several PECRON stations support add-on batteries (e.g., EB-series packs) through dedicated ports. Some models also support fast vehicle charging accessories. See the model’s The Power Sphere listing or user manual for more details.
